Designed at the rear of the home, this pool house was created to make the most of Sydney's northern beaches lifestyle.

Centred around a stone-clad fireplace, with exposed timber ceilings and warm lining boards, the space has a relaxed, comfortable feel that works equally well for summer afternoons around the pool or quieter evenings with family and friends.

The pool house also doubles as a guest suite. Custom timber joinery incorporates a fold-down bed, robes and bookshelves, while a small kitchenette makes the space practical for longer stays.

At the other end, a generous steam room creates a little retreat of its own.
