Giving a much-loved Victorian terrace a new sense of space and life
This Victorian terrace had generous proportions and beautiful bones, but much of its original character had been lost over time.
The design brings that character back while opening the house up to contemporary family life. The spaces have been reworked to create a greater sense of openness, with sweeping district views revealed throughout the home.
Curved details and carefully selected furniture echo the circular garden at the rear, creating a gentle connection between the house, garden and rear studio. A palette of green and burgundy brings the landscape into the architecture and gives the home a warm, elegant character.
The result is a terrace that feels generous, light and connected, while still retaining the charm of its Victorian origins.
