Crossing the bridge from the lush courtyards to the water views of this family home
Although the home sits softly in its landscape, the striking impact of its waterside location is immediately evident upon entering crossing its threshold.
With lushly gardened open courtyards at the core of the house that draw natural light, airflow and provide garden vistas to the lower levels, a central bridge delivers you through the courtyard canopy from the front of the house to the rear where the water views expand across the eastern elevation. Paired with a soaring pitched ceiling, the living spaces are bathed in the sunlight and fresh air of the Balmoral slopes.
Taking inspiration from the water and the landscaped environment around the home, a soft palette of oak timber and natural stone, paired with colours of muted blues, greys and whites has been introduced to evoke a calming aesthetic. The warm fireplace and striking artwork preside over the living space, due to the custom-designed curving joinery which gently glides to conceal the television. The finery of the details of this living space encourages entertaining but it also has a comfortable feel which calls for cosy family living.
The private spaces on the lower level enjoy a more intimate but equally captivating view over the swimming pool to Sydney Heads.
