The opportunity to restore a beautiful historic home while making it work for contemporary family life was at the heart of this project.
The traditional Arts and Crafts features have been carefully restored and celebrated, while the layout has been reworked to improve the way the home functions and flows. Period archways and generous proportions create a natural connection between the living spaces and the landscape, while views towards the new swimming pool draw the garden into the home.
Contemporary finishes, carefully selected textures and beautifully crafted details sit comfortably alongside the historic character of the house.
A breathtaking achievement for all involved, this project sought to execute the highest standards of craftsmanship and design and the result is a beautifully bespoke home that retains the spirit of its past while feeling fresh, relaxed and ready for modern family life.
